Peggy Anderson Stapley "Grandma Peggy" passed away July 6, 2012 at her home in Beaver, Utah. She was born on June 6, 1925 to John Miles and Erma Skougard Anderson in Beaver, Utah. She married Clifford Adams Stapley on November 27, 1943.

Peggy was a graduate of Beaver High School and had been a high school cheerleader. She enjoyed volunteering at the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her rose garden, was dedicated to her entire family (including her cats Jack and Jill). She enjoyed her pet fish, her African Violet flowers and liked having company and visiting with friends and family. Peggy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had served as a mutual leader for the Young Women’s organization. Decorated Wedding Cakes for many years. Loved her Utah Jazz and was a very special mother-in-law.

She is survived by her children from Beaver, UT, Jenny Myers; Ruth Davis Marshall (Hayward); Bobbie Foreman (Dan); Peggy Ann Stapley; Clifford Brent Stapley (Carolyn); and Kelly Stapley and niece Janeile (Billie) Dalton; and sister Lillian Barton of Cedar City, Utah; 26 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband Clifford Adams Stapley; 2nd Husband Maurice Blackner; 4 brothers and 2 sisters; son Russell Stapley; 4 son-in-laws Boyd Myers, Raymond Davis, George Murdock, and William Campbell; granddaughter Tonja Crosby.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Beaver 1st Ward Chapel in Beaver, Utah. Visitations will be held Wednesday July 11, 2012 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver, Utah and Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Mt. View Cemetery, all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com.

So sorry for the loss of a wonderful lady!
I have always loved her. I grew up in Beaver and loved her dearly.
She made our wedding cake....I have such fond memories of a precious treasure. She was and is loved by many!
My thoughts, prayers and love goes out to all of her family and dear friends. She may be gone from this earth, but never forgotten.
