Kim "K.C." Charles Jones passed away at the age of 62 on July 9, 2012 in Murray, Utah. He was born on March 18, 1950 in Helper, Utah and was the son of Charles and Charlotte M. Jones. He married Lori Webster on October 10, 1980.
Kim received his Bachellors degree in Art, worked with the Boy Scouts of America, and was President of Friends of the NRA. He served in the U.S. Navy/U.S. Marines from 1969-1973. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and there served as a building custodian and home teacher. Kim enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns and knives, and carpentry. He was an artist and also a musician. He loved his family foremost. Later, he retired from Quest after working there for 33 years.
He is survived by his wife; children Jacy Fields (Chad) of Beaver, UT; Weston Jones (Geneva Richards) of St. George, UT; Marki Dalton (Brendon) of Cedar City, UT; mother; sister Karen Larsen of Nampa, ID; and 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Kathy and father.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Enoch Homestead Chapel, 1390 East Midvalley Road in Enoch, Utah. Visitations will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 N 300 W, Cedar City, UT) and Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com.
