Bryan Jerome Steed
Our beloved Jopoppa, Bryan Jerome Steed, age 57, passed away in an automobile accident on July 10, 2012 near Mesquite, NV. He was born on March 5, 1955 in St. George, UT to Eugene Cameron and Loa Elna Nelson Steed. He married Joyce Elayne Corbett in Las Vegas, NV on July 24, 1976.
Bryan shared his love of laughter with everyone by sharing jokes in every situation. He loved to work hard, read, visit with family, play with his grandkids, be in nature, eat good food, and share his love of the gospel. He greeted everyone with a smile and always assumed everyone he met had good character. He had kind eyes and everyone he knew felt his loving arms around them. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in various callings.
Bryan is survived by his wife Joyce of Cedar City, UT. His children; Brianna (Joslin) Frehner of Las Vegas, NV, Gregory J. (Debbie) Steed of Layton, UT, Chandra (Jared) Smith of Springfield, MO, Tara (Ryan) Beaird of Layton, UT, Beau (Leann) Steed of Waco, TX, Lisa Jenae (Steven) Steed of Las Vegas, NV and A. Michael Steed of Cedar City, UT. His brother Cameron Val (Laurie) Steed of Las Vegas, NV and sister Launa (Tom) Denning of Milliken, CO. Along with 19 wonderful grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother Joel Steed and sister Jaleen Makela.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Heritage Park Ward located at 290 W 1045 North in Cedar City, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the services on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 12:30-1:30 pm at the Church. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
